CENTAUR

A highly uniform lettuce for spring harvest, CENTAUR produces medium sized heads with good internal qualities.

CENTAUR is well suited for the cool to warm transition where it is fast to mature but will hold very well until harvest rather than becoming puffy and unmarketable.

CENTAUR may also suit the late autumn/early winter slot in some production areas. CENTAUR forms flat-round heads that sit up off of the ground allowing for ease of harvest.

The heads are protected against late frosts by a nicely wrapped frame. CENTAUR shows excellent tolerance to mildew and lettuce big vein.
