SMART RADISH is a specifically bred Daikon Radish for the use of cover cropping.

SMART RADISH has proven results in the reduction of a number of common pests found in New Zealand soils including; Clubroot, (Plasmodiophora brassicae), Root Knot – Nematode (Metiadogye spp) and Sugar Beet Cyst - Nematode (Heterodera schactii).

A slow bolting, bi-annual radish, SMART RADISH produced large light intercepting leaves and a large tap root with strong lateral roots which exploit horizontal fissures and nutrient scavenging ability

If you are growing this crop in key seed production regions please ensure this crop if not left to flower. By doing so can create major issues for the seed production of other hybrid radish seed crops.
