LIEUTENANT is a mid-green, little gem cos suited to year-round hydroponic production for both baby cos heads and for leaf production.
LIEUTENANT has thick, lightly-blistered leaves and a yellow internal.
LIEUTENANT is upright in habit and has a U-shaped base making it an ideal option for twin packs. When grown in hot conditions, LIEUTENANT shows good tolerance to both internal tipburn and bolting.
In the shoulder season when pythium is an issue in hydroponic systems, LIEUTENANT shows excellent tolerance. With a strong mildew package (Bl. 1-35, 37) and Nasonovia resistance, LIEUTENANT provides growers with good disease protection.
