TOKYO

A long time market standard, TOKYO produces highly uniform roots with good tolerance to pithiness. A highly vigorous variety, TOKYO may bolt if sown too early in the Spring in some locations throughout New Zealand.

The roots of TOKYO can be harvested at any stage but best root quality and eating qualities are achieved when roots are 8-10cm in diameter.
