SHRAPNEL

In the Sugar Baby class, SHRAPNEL is a hybrid, seeded watermelon type suited to main season production.

A moderately vigorous vine that yields high numbers of fruit, SHRAPNEL produces medium to large fruit that are highly uniform in regards to fruit size, shape and appearance.

A feature of SHRAPNEL is its internal fruit quality with excellent flesh firmness, deep red flesh colour, thin but defined rind and low numbers of small seeds.

SHRAPNEL has shown good tolerance to hollowing, important for cut markets and has fantastic flavour and sugars.
