ROSELLA
ROSELLA is a very dark red lollo rossa suitable for production in both hydroponic and field production. ROSELLA has a medium vigour, a very tight leaf curl and produces uniform heads throughout the crop.
It is a versatile variety that allows for year round production in most situations and significantly, for a red lollo, retains exceptional colour through the range of seasons. For a red, ROSELLA produces excellent leaf numbers to give bulk to sleeved head presentation and yield in situations where it is processed for leaf use. ROSELLA is strong against tipburn and bolting in the heat.
