ROZEE

ROZEE is a red multileaf lettuce that produces high leaf numbers resulting in a bulky head great for sleeving and excellent yields of cut leaf for inclusion in salad mixes. Suitable for year round production under some growing environments, ROZEE produces leaves with a red leaf margin and a light green inner leaf that provides an attractive contrast. The leaves of ROZEE remain highly uniform thereby ensuring few leaves are discarded due to being out of spec, minimising waste and improving processed recoveries. The stem attachment of the ROZEE leaves is narrow and the leaves have a good thickness to them as well as a three dimensional leaf structure which seems to handle processing better and fills out salad bags. ROZEE has shown excellent field tolerance under high anthracnose pressure.
