MONROE is a medium to high vigour lollo bionda suitable for the whole head market in both hydroponics and field situations.
MONROE has a traditional lollo colour and produces uniform heads throughout the crop. It is an extremely versatile variety best suited to the cool and cold showing significantly more vigour than the market standard.
MONROE shows excellent leaf numbers to give bulk to sleeved head presentation and yield in situations where it is processed for leaf use. MONROE is strong against tipburn and bronzing in the heat.
