ORACLE

ORACLE is a high yielding, cool/cold season spinach with a very strong mildew package. A sister-line to Prophet, ORACLE produces a slightly rounder leaf and is slightly slower resulting in a very high yield and thick leaves with an excellent shelf life.

As with Prophet, in more Northern regions ORACLE will push right through Winter allowing for a very wide harvest window. In the South Island ORACLE will be best suited to the shoulders. As it is not an Oriental type ORACLE is not as upright as varieties such as Black Glove and Eclipse but it develops high numbers of very thick, oval shaped leaves. The leaves have an attractive, slight savoy that gives texture in the bag.

ORACLE shows strong tolerance to yellowing in periods of heavy/continuous rain.
