WILDLING

WILDLING is a mid-green multileaf lettuce that shows great adaptability for year round production in a range of growing conditions. WILDLING is vigorous but produces an even head with uniform leaves distributed throughout resulting in less wastage of large, outer leaves. WILDLING has a very high leaf count that creates bulk and good recovery of processed leaves. Due to its versatility, WILDLING can be utilised for both whole head production (sleeving) and for cut leaf to include in salad mixes. WILDLING has shown good field tolerance to both anthracnose and sclerotinia. In warm conditions WILDLING produces highly uniform heads ensuing high crop recoveries at harvest and is slow to bolt during the heat.
